Hello, and welcome to my blog!!
Since you decided to click on this page, then I suppose you’re interested to know the man behind the blog.
My Love for Anime
As you have probably already figured out, I’m a huge anime fan. I don’t really remember why I decided to start watching anime back at the end of 2011/ beginning of 2012; all I know is that once I started I immediately became hooked. When I was younger, I had watched shows like Pokemon (pretty much everyone I knew watched it) and a few Miyazaki movies (Spirited Away and Kiki’s Delivery Service), but I had never really developed an interest in anime. Jump forward to late 2011 and I decided to watch a show called Eureka Seven after someone recommended it to me. Well, I not only enjoyed it, I loved it; it’s still one of my favorite anime series of all time. From what I can remember, I watched all 50 episodes in the span of around 2 days. Ever since then I’ve been watching anime. If you’re interested in what I’ve seen, you can check out my MAL page.
More recently, I’ve really started to get into collecting figures. To quote what I’d said on a past post:
Now, I never used to be a figure person. Being really into art, I started ordering art books a while back. One of the magazines I ordered, Volume 8 of Pixiv Quarterly, actually came with a petit nendoroid. After unboxing her, I began to understand why a lot of people love buying figures. And so, my figure collection began to slowly grow.
My Interest in Drawing
Art class was always relatively easy for me in school, but my interest never extended farther than the school’s boundaries when I was younger. The same thing could be said about English class; although I didn’t enjoy English class nearly as much.
In my high school years I really started to get interested in film; especially the more technical side of things such as how they put a scene together. When I became interested in anime, the desire to look at how these shows were created was sparked. But my interest didn’t stop there, I wanted to be able to draw and animate my own stories, and so I began practicing drawing back in the summer of 2012.

My Interest in Music
Unfortunately, I was rather slow to pick up music. When I was younger I was offered the opportunity to take piano lessons since my sister was taking them. At the time I wasn’t really interested and declined; something I deeply regret looking back on things. I was more interested in buying games and laying about watching TV after school.
A few years after that I decided to pick up guitar. I took lessons but my interest didn’t last long; perhaps because I wasn’t playing any music that I really liked. Then, around the beginning of high school I really started getting into music. I picked up the guitar once more and I’ve been playing ever since.
It wasn’t until around a year ago, when I was really getting into anime, that I discovered Youtubers like Kyle Landry, Marasy8 and Animenz. After discovering them, I found the inspiration I needed to finally pick up the piano. Piano has already surpassed guitar as being my favorite instrument to play, and hopefully I’ll be able to work my way up to arranging songs sometime in the near future.
In total I play five instruments: piano, guitar, bass, drums, and violin.
My Love for Vocaloid
So other than anime, I’m am a HUGE Vocaloid fan. I really can’t remember how I discovered Vocaloid or exactly when (I think it was around the same time I started watching anime), but what I do remember is the first time I watched Miku in concert performing World is Mine on Youtube. I was absolutely mesmorized; I may have gone somewhat overboard but I swear I replayed that video at least 100 times……
Ever since then I’ve been a huge Vocaloid fan. I’d say at least half of my iTunes library is currently filled with Vocaloid songs. To be totally honest, I’m kind of like a drug addict when it comes to Vocaloid, especially Miku.
For those interested, my favorite Vocaloid producer is kz, and my favorite song would have to be either Tell Your World or Redial.
Well, that covers most of it, now you know the man behind the blog a little better.
